来年娘も中学生。パパである自分が最も気をつけること。

自分は子供4人。上の子供はそろそろ中学生。思春期突入。下手すると、これからパパとは一切口を聞かないなって言われてしまう年頃だ。これから、パパである自分がこれから最も気を付けること。

１、答えを言わない　

２、評価をしない

とにかく自分の正解を押し付けない。いやあ、その正解はこっちでしょと人生経験から100％こっちと思ったとしても、答えを言わない。そして、悪いとも良いとも言わない。とにかく聞く。聞く。聞く。

答えは出さない。評価もしない。でも振り向いたらいつも後ろにいる。そこが理想。

そして、娘のお手本として、人生をいつまでも楽しそうに生きている大人になる。そしてできれば、自分以外にも何人か、実際に人生を面白おかしく生きている大人を、たくさん揃えておく。

言うは易し行うは堅く。単純なようで難しい。

これから、しっかりできるかな？

My daughter is about to start secondary school.
I have four children. My oldest child is about to start junior high school. They are entering puberty. I will be most careful about 2 point from now on.

  1. Don’t give answers.　
  2. Don’t evaluate.

Don’t force your correct answer on them. Even if you think the right answer is 100% based on your life experience, don’t tell them the answer. And don’t say it’s bad or good. Anyway, listen. Listen. I listen.

I don’t give an answer. I don’t even evaluate. But when you turn around, they are always behind you. That is the ideal.

And as a role model for my daughter, I will be an adult who is living life happily forever. And if possible, have a number of other adults besides themself, many of whom are actually living life in an interesting way.

It sounds simple, but it is difficult.
