民族滅亡の三原則

「民族滅亡の三原則」というものを知った。

１、理想を失った民族は滅亡する
２、価値を金銭に求める民族は滅亡する
３、歴史を忘れた民族は滅亡する

民族というのは、個々人の集合体だから、民族が滅亡するということは、もちろん、これをやっていたら個人的にもアウトということだ。確かにこれらの原則は、すべて日々の生活にも当てはまる。

「理想を失った民族は滅亡する」
理想がなくなると、本当に生きる意味がなくなる。理想がなくなると行動が一貫しない。行動も続かない。

「価値を金銭に求める民族は滅亡する」
ビジネスでも「利益なくして、安全なし」と稲盛和夫さんもおっしゃっているとおり、売上はとっても大切だ。ただ売上だけを追っていってしまうと、結局ダメになる。

「歴史を忘れた民族は滅亡する」
何百年、何千年前の偉人の言葉が今も語り継がれているように、過去の出来事は繰り返す。

人類の根本というのは、やはり昔から変わっていないのだ。

I have learnt of the three principles of a nation’s downfall.

1, A people that has lost its ideals will perish.
2, A people who seek value in money will perish.
3, A people who have forgotten their history will perish.

A tribe is a collection of individuals, so the demise of a tribe means, of course, that if you do this, you are out as an individual. In fact, all these principles apply to everyday life.

A people that has lost its ideals will perish.
When ideals are lost, life really has no meaning. When ideals are lost, actions are inconsistent. Actions do not last.

A people who seek value in money will perish.
As Kazuo Inamori said, “Without profit, there is no security” in business, sales are very important. But if you only pursue sales, you will end up ruining your business.

A nation that forgets its history will perish.
Just as the words of great people from hundreds or thousands of years ago are still being passed on today, the events of the past repeat themselves.

The fundamentals of humanity seem to have remained the same.
