Barriers. Toughness. Success Patterns and the Shell of Self.
In Kanda-Masanori ‘s newsletter, Robert Keegan’s book “Why Can’t People and Organisations Change?” was introduced at the level of the company’s intelligence. It says,
22% of people let things happen and do not make decisions.
66% of people are stuck in past patterns of success.
7% of people who can break out of their shell.
I understand very well. If you happen to experience a pattern of success, the first thing you will do is stick to it. If you fail to break through that first barrier, your life is over.
Even if you are lucky enough to break through the first barrier, only 7% of those people will be able to break through the next barrier, which is to break out of your shell. That’s why ordinary people can’t move on.
Past success patterns and the shell wall. It is still very hard.
