神がかってすごい

イーロン・マスクを改めて読み終えた。やはりイーロン・マスクさんは本当にすごい。アスリート的に本当にすごい方はたくさんいらっしゃるけれど、イーロンはベクトルがまったく違って、神がかってすごい。エベレストを目指せば、最高の登山家になれないけど、エベレストに登れるように、イーロンを本気で目指し、行動すれば、小粒イーロンのようにはなれるだろうか？　

そういえば、自分はビジネス的にはいつも及び腰。少なくとも、ビジネス的にも多少のリスクをとってもいいはずだ。いやとるべきだ。あと何年生きられる？現在45歳、ここを折り返しとしてあと45年。もうフィニッシュラインへのタイムがないぞ。何かをやれ。そうじゃないと、どこにもいけない。自分も、ビジネスでも少なくともリスクを取るべきだ。

I finished reading Elon Musk again. Elon Musk is really amazing. There are a lot of people who are really amazing athletically, but Elon is on a completely different vector and he is godlike and amazing. If you want to climb Everest, you can’t become the best climber, but if you really want to climb Everest and act like Elon, can you become like little Elon?　

At least from a business point of view, I should be willing to take some risks. No, I should. How many years do I have left to live? I am 45 years old now, and with this as the turning point, I have 45 years to go. I’m running out of time. Do something. If I don’t, I’ll never get anywhere. I should at least take risks, both for myself and for my business.
