スニーカーショップatmos（アトモス）創業社長の本、ＳＨＯＥ　ＬＩＦＥ（シューライフ）「４００億円」のスニーカーショップを作った男をAudibleの聴き放題対象になっていたので聞いてみたら、すごく面白かった。

自分は新宿と銀座で誠眼鏡店をやらせてもらって15年。今でこそ正規での取り扱いブランドは多くなったけれど、やはりコレクターのお客様からの買取や並行輸入が主なので、本当に自分の仕事とリンクする。

ナイキに正規のアカウトを開くとか、店舗のコラボ限定を作るとか、本当にこれはまるっきり眼鏡にも当てはまる。何か次なる一手として、新たに始めたくなった。THE！！商売！！そんな本。

眼鏡をもっととことん突き詰めていこう。改めてそう思わせてくれる自分にとって、とっても素敵な一冊だった。

I listened to SHOE LIFE, a book by the founding president of the atmos sneaker shop, about the man who built a 40 billion yen sneaker business.

It’s been 15 years since I opened Makoto Opticians in Shinjuku and Ginza. Although we now officially carry more brands, we still buy mainly from collectors and parallel imports, so it really does relate to my work.

This really applies to eyewear, such as opening an official Akout for Nike or creating a limited edition collaboration for the store. Something I want to start again as a next step.

Let’s push even further. It was a very nice book for me that made me think again.
