次はあり？暗い庭園（ダークガーデン）

新宿と銀座で15年ほどメガネ屋を営業させてもらっている。そんなうちの店舗は、植物が多い。新宿には店舗の上にレンズの加工場兼事務所もあるのだけれど、そこも植物がたくさん。ちなみに家も植物がたくさん。植物があると、かなり気分が変わる。なので、基本どこも必ず植物をいれている。

そんな植物。現在、TikTokなどで、暗い庭園（ダークガーデン）がトレンドだという。ダークガーデンは、ゴシック美学に影響を受けた庭園のデザインが特徴で、深紅や紫の花、棘のある枝、毒性のある植物を用いて、神秘的で不気味な雰囲気を醸し出すという。

黒いバラ、ダークチューリップ、紫色のアイリス。暗い緑の葉、絡み合うツタ、ねじれた古木。ゴシック調の像やランタン、石の小道。ChatGPTでイメージを作ってもらったら、確かにダーク。

今のうちのお店は勿論、このようなぶっちぎった感じではなく、落ち着けるような通常の植物がおかれているけれど、ただ、この感じでのメガネ屋も次はありかも。

It has been 15 years since we opened our eyewear shops in Shinjuku and Ginza. The stores are full of plants. My house is full of plants too. Plants make me feel different. That’s why I always have plants in every shop.
At the moment, dark gardens are all the rage on TikTok and other social media. With gothic-inspired garden designs, dark gardens are said to use crimson and purple flowers, thorny branches and poisonous plants to create a mysterious and eerie atmosphere.

Black roses, dark tulips and purple irises. Dark green foliage, tangled ivy and twisted old trees. Gothic statues, lanterns and cobbled paths. When we asked .ChatGPT to create an image for us, it was indeed dark gardens.

Our current shop does not have plants with such a unique atmosphere, but in the future it would be nice to have an optician’s shop with gothic plants like this.
