大人でも、間違ったら謝る

本日次女の中学生の入学式。うちから一番近い公立中学校なのだけれど、こちらの現在の校長先生は、本当にとっても素敵な方。「大人でも間違ったら謝る。できるだけ人の悪口を言わない」基本的な方針がすばらしく、それを実際に実行されている。

例えば、間違ったら、大人でも謝る。文字で聞くと当然なことだけれど、こういった基本的なことは、実際にできない場面が多い。なんとなく、強く出てしまって、誤りにくい。でも、謝る。子供にもしっかり謝る。間違ったら、謝る。

公立校の先生は定期的に移動してしまうとなので、今5歳の一番下の子が中学になるころはいらっしゃらないと思うけれど、せめて3女が卒業するまでは校長先生のままでいてほしい。
