睡眠時間 HRV心拍変動ステータス
仕事の際は、15kgのベストと6kgのアンクルウェイトをつけて仕事というスタイルを5年ほど続けているのだけれど、今日は重りが無性に重い。
重りが重く感じる時は、パワー不足。おかしいなと、思ってガーミンの時計を見てみると、HRV心拍変動ステータスがものすごく低くなっている。今週はタイ、ベトナムに行っていて、平均睡眠時間が4時間だった。
睡眠4時間なのに、毎朝のように走って、泳いで走ったりしてたから、体に疲れがたまってしまっていたようだ。
以前は、なんとなく気分で捉えていたものが、今やウェアラブルウォッチなどで、常に心拍や血中酸素濃度などを測っていると、すべてデータでわかるようになってきている。これは今後ますます精度を増し、本当に大きなビジネスになるだろう。
Apple がApple Watchに力をいれる理由がわかる。

I have been wearing a 15 kg waistcoat and 6 kg ankle weights to work for the past five years, but today the weights are uncharacteristically heavy.
When the weights feel heavy, I am underpowered. I thought it was strange, so I looked at my Garmin watch and saw that my HRV heart rate variability status was very low. I was in Thailand and Vietnam this week and my average sleep was four hours.
Even though I got four hours of sleep, I was running, swimming every morning, so I guess my body was getting tired.
What used to be somewhat captured by my moods is now all data, with wearable watches and other devices that constantly measure my heart rate and blood oxygen level. This is going to become more and more accurate in the future and will be really big business.
I can see why Apple is putting so much effort into the Apple Watch.
