都会からすぐ、素晴らしい自然！
昨日より京都。今日は朝、２８kmほど走った。嵐山より先、山のほうに行ってみたのだけれど、素晴らしい自然。京都は、都市部からでも、ちょっと足を伸ばすとこんなに素晴らしい自然に出会えるのだな。
都会からすぐに素晴らしい自然にアクセスできる街として、自分がまっさきに思い浮かぶのは香港。香港というと都市のイメージがるけれど、都市の裏には膨大な自然がある。
香港で仕事をしていた際、毎朝必ず山に登っていたのだけれど、都市と自然がすぐという街は本当にすばらしい。香港島のど真ん中セントラルからでも裏はものすごい自然。このギャップが最高だ。
京都は香港ほど都市化した街ではないので、ギャップはそこまでないけれど、都市からすぐにこのような素晴らしい自然にアクセスできるのは、やはり最高の街だ。

I am in Kyoto since yesterday. Today I ran 28 km in the morning.
I went to the mountains beyond Arashiyama and found wonderful nature.
Kyoto is a city where you can find such wonderful nature just a short distance away from the city.
Hong Kong is a city that offers immediate access to great nature from the city. Hong Kong is often thought of as a city, but behind the city there is a vast amount of nature.
When I was working in Hong Kong, I used to run through the mountains every morning. Even from Central in the middle of Hong Kong Island, the back side of the city is amazingly natural.
Kyoto is not as urbanized as Hong Kong, so the gap is not that big, but it is still a great city to have such great access to nature right from the city.
