花を愛するのに植物学は不要である
「花を愛するのに植物学は不要である」稲垣足穂さんの言葉だ。
これを見たときに、自分のメガネに置き換えて、あっなるほどと思った。
「メガネを愛するのに資格は不要である」
自分はまったく資格などわからない段階でメガネ屋を始めた。
昔はうちにレンズを作りにきてくれた方からメガネを受けて、それを持って他のメガネ屋さんに走りに行っていたぐらいだ。そんな形で始めたメガネ屋も10年目をむかえ、今は、メガネのプロフェッショナルの先輩、仲間達がいてくれて、完璧なメガネ屋になっている。
人生は「できる」「できない」よりも「楽しめる」かどうかのほうが重要なのかもしれないな。
