仕事やプライベートで、Mac、iPhone、そしてiPadを使っている。どれもApple製品だから、同じApple IDでサインインしている。そのおかげで享受している恩恵は色々あるけれど、最近改めて「これ、地味にすごく使いやすいな」と感動している機能がある。

コピペが、全部揃うことだ。（ユニバーサルクリップボード）

例えば、iPhoneで受信したメールに書いてあった住所。そのテキストをiPhoneでコピーして、そのままMacのマップアプリを開いて「ペースト」を押すと、今コピーした住所が貼り付けられる。

Macで調べていたサイトのURLをコピーして、手元のiPadのメモ帳にすぐにペーストできる。

一見すると、「それだけ？」と思うかもしれない。本当に「気づかないぐらいちょっとしたこと」だ。

でも、これが実は地味にすごく使いやすい。

iPhoneでウェブサイトのURLをコピーする。そのまま、Macでペーストできる。iPadでメモした文章を、iPhoneに貼り付けられる。デバイス間を行き来しながら、シームレスに作業が進む。

一見、ちょっとしたこと。気づかないぐらい、ちょっとしたこと。

でも、こういうちょっとしたことで、断然、日々の仕事が楽になる。

昔は、iPhoneで見つけた情報をMacで使いたい時、自分にメールを送っていた。あるいは、メモアプリに書いて同期するのを待っていた。それが、今は一瞬。コピーして、ペースト。それだけ。

たったそれだけのことだけど、積み重なると大きい。

一日に何回、コピペをするだろう。何十回？何百回？その度に、メールを送ったり、メモを開いたりしていたら、どれだけの時間が無駄になるか。

逆に言えば、この小さな効率化で、どれだけの時間が生まれるか。

だから、このあたりの細かいことも重要なのかもしれない。

大きな生産性向上、劇的な効率化。そういうものばかりに目が行きがちだけど、実は日々の仕事を楽にするのは、こういう小さな積み重ねなのかもしれない。

Appleのエコシステムは、まさにそこが強い。

Mac、iPhone、iPad、Apple Watch。全部が同じApple IDでつながっている。コピペだけじゃない。写真も、メモも、カレンダーも、リマインダーも、すべてが自動で同期される。

どのデバイスで作業を始めても、どのデバイスで続きをやっても、違和感がない。考える必要がない。ただ、やりたいことをやるだけ。

これが、本当の意味での「使いやすさ」なんだと思う。

派手な機能じゃない。誰も気づかないような、地味な機能。でも、毎日使っていると、その価値がわかる。

「ああ、これがあるから楽なんだ」と。

メガネ屋を17年やってきて思うのは、道具選びで大事なのは、デザインやスペックだけじゃないということ。

高性能であることも大事だけど、それ以上に、毎日使っていてストレスがないこと。

そういう「ちょっとしたこと」の積み重ねが、長く使い続けられる道具の条件なんだと思う。

Appleのデバイスは、そこをよくわかっている。

コピペが揃う。たったそれだけのこと。でも、それが毎日の仕事を楽にしてくれる。

細かいことだけど、重要なこと。

「ちょっとしたこと」ほど、気づきにくい。でも、それが毎日のストレスを減らし、仕事のリズムを整え、頭の中のノイズを少しずつ消してくれる。

効率化というより、心地よさの話だと思う。

無理に頑張らなくても、自然に手が動く環境。そういう細部の積み重ねが、気づけば大きな「集中の差」を作っていく。

最新機能を追うより、今手元の環境を少し整えること。それだけで、日々の仕事が驚くほど軽くなる。

「ちょっとしたこと」を大事にすることが、実は、一番の近道なのかもしれない。

そういう視点を持っていると、道具選びが変わってくる。人生が変わってくる。

ちょっとしたことを、改めてもっと大切にしよう。

How many times a day do we copy and paste? Dozens? Hundreds?
If every time you had to send an email or reopen an app,
imagine how much time would be lost.
And conversely — how much time you gain from this one small efficiency.

We often chase big leaps in productivity or dramatic new features,
but what truly makes daily work easier
are the small, thoughtful refinements like this.

You don’t have to think — you just keep doing what you want to do.

That quiet kind of excellence.

After 17 years running an eyewear business,
I’ve learned that the most important part of any tool
isn’t its design or specifications —
