最近、映像制作のためにsora.comを試しているのだけれど、正直なところ、思うようにいかないことが多い。完成した動画を見るたびに「んー、これじゃない感」が漂う…。

そもそも、指示文が適切でないのかもしれない。映像制作は、具体的なビジョンをどう伝えるかが肝心。ただ、短い文章で「何を」「どう表現するか」を伝えるのは意外に難しい。「20秒でグローバルなリーダーシップを表現する映像」とか考えると、自分でも無茶ぶりをしている気がする。

また、まだsora.com自体に限界があるのかもしれない。とりあえず、いまのところ気づいたことを挙げてみると…

1. もっと具体的な指示を書く
「宇宙」「グローバル」という抽象的な言葉だけでなく、「地球の映像から始まり、リーダーが群衆に話しかけるシーンを追加」と具体化すると、ちょっとだけ仕上がりが改善する。

2. 映像のテンポを意識する
20秒という短い尺の中で、どこに視点を置くべきかを明確にすることで、全体がまとまりやすくなる。

SUNOもそうだったけれど、AIツールは1年で驚くべきバージョンアップをする可能性がある。sora.comはまだ試行錯誤の段階ではあるものの、その可能性はすごそうだ。自分たちのイマジネーションを自由に形にできる未来を思うと、試行錯誤のプロセスも楽しめる。

これからも、ちょこちょこ、実験的で具体的な指示を試しながら、満足のいく映像を作り上げたいと思う。

AI Video Creation: Experimenting with sora.com

Recently, I’ve been testing sora.com for video creation, but honestly, things haven’t been going as smoothly as I hoped. Every time I watch the finished video, I can’t help but think, “Hmm, this isn’t quite it…”

The issue might be with how I write my instructions. In video creation, clearly conveying your vision is critical. However, expressing “what” and “how” in short sentences can be surprisingly difficult. Phrases like “Create a 20-second video representing global leadership” feel like I’m setting an impossible task, even for myself.

There’s also a chance that sora.com itself has certain limitations at this stage. For now, here are a few things I’ve noticed:

Write more specific instructions
Instead of abstract terms like “space” or “global,” being more concrete, such as “Start with a shot of Earth and add a scene of a leader addressing a crowd,” slightly improves the results.
Focus on the pacing of the video
In a short 20-second clip, defining where to place the focus makes the overall flow more cohesive.

Like SUNO, AI tools can make astonishing progress in just one year. sora.com might still be in the experimental phase, but its potential is immense. Thinking about a future where we can freely turn our imagination into reality makes even the trial-and-error process exciting.

I’ll keep experimenting with more specific and creative instructions and aim to create videos I can truly be satisfied with.
