オーシャンセブン。映画オーシャンズイレブンのようなだけれど、ぜんぜん違って、これはスイマーが泳いで横断したいと思う世界のメジャーな？？海峡は7つのこと。

コロナになる前、自分もここのどれか一つを！！と目指していたのだけれど、コロナでの受付中止や、自分のモチベーション低下で、すっかり萎んでしまったこの挑戦。

先日ウルトラマンカナダで、自分の脳の、ドーパミンが溢れ出す、そのあたりの部分が刺激され、今活性化してるので、来年のハワイウルトラマンのエントリーとともに、ここも再度探しだした。

ちなみにオーシャンセブンは、以下で波やうねりなどあるので、距離はだいたいになるけれど、一応

ドーバー海峡（イギリス～フランス間）34km

カタリーナ海峡（アメリカ：サンタカタリーナ島～ロサンゼルス間）34km

クック海峡（ニュージーランド：北島～南島間）23km

ジブラルタル海峡（スペイン～モロッコ間）14.4km

津軽海峡（本州～北海道間）30km

カウアイ（モロカイ）海峡（ハワイ：モロカイ島～オアフ間）42km

アイリッシュ（北）海峡（アイルランド～スコットランド間）34km

難易度で並べ替えると、

１、津軽海峡（本州～北海道間）

２、カウアイ（モロカイ）海峡（ハワイ：モロカイ島～オアフ間）

３、アイリッシュ（北）海峡（アイルランド～スコットランド間）

４、クック海峡（ニュージーランド：北島～南島間）

５、ドーバー海峡（イギリス～フランス間）

６、カタリーナ海峡（アメリカ：サンタカタリーナ島～ロサンゼルス間）

７、ジブラルタル海峡（スペイン～モロッコ間）

とのこと。

基本、この挑戦はウェットはなし。なので、水温との戦いにもなるので、自分はできたら水温の高いところが良いなあと思っている。身近な津軽が一番難しいとのことだけれど、津軽海峡泳いで渡れたら最高だろうなあ！！

Ocean Seven. Seven major straits to swim across

Ocean Seven. Like the movie Ocean’s Eleven, but not quite. It means seven straits.

Before I became a Corona, I was aiming for one of these! I had been aiming to do one of these before Corona, but the challenge has faded completely due to the cancellation of the reception in Corona and my own lack of motivation.

The other day, Ultraman Canada stimulated that part of my brain where dopamine overflows, and now it is activated, so I started looking for this place again, along with the entry for next year’s Hawaii Ultraman.

By the way, the Ocean Seven is a distance that is approximate because of waves and swells in the following areas, but just to give you a rough idea

Strait of Dover (between England and France) 34 km

Catalina Channel (U.S.A.: between Santa Catarina Island and Los Angeles) 34 km

Cook Strait (New Zealand: between North Island and South Island) 23km

Strait of Gibraltar (Spain – Morocco) 14.4 km

Tsugaru Strait (between Honshu and Hokkaido) 30km

Kauai (Molokai) Strait (Hawaii: between Molokai and Oahu) 42 km

Irish (North) Channel (between Ireland and Scotland) 34km

Sort by difficulty level

1, Tsugaru Strait (between Honshu and Hokkaido)

2、Kauai (Molokai) Strait (Hawaii: between Molokai and Oahu)

3, Irish (North) Channel (Ireland to Scotland)

Cook Strait (New Zealand: between North Island and South Island)

5, Strait of Dover (between England and France)

6, Catalina (between Santa Catarina and Los Angeles, U.S.A.)

7, Strait of Gibraltar (between Spain and Morocco)

and so on.

Basically, no wets for this challenge. Therefore, it will be a battle against the water temperature, and I would prefer to be in a place with high water temperature if possible. I heard that Tsugaru Strait, which is close to me, is the most difficult, but it would be great if I could swim across the strait!
