I recently read a book about the black history of great people. It is very interesting to find out more about the lives of great people, people like Picasso, Einstein, Mozart and Soseki Natsume. You realise that these great people were not really perfect, but their imperfections were the basis of their charm.
For example, Picasso had many relationships with women and had many episodes that would normally make him an unwanted husband, Soseki Natsume spent a lot of money in one night, and Mozart was a betting man and often found himself in financial difficulties.
These episodes make me feel that the brilliance of great people lies in their imperfections, and although social networking sites have developed and celebrities and artists are often harshly criticised these days for even the slightest mistake, great people have also achieved great things in their respective fields despite their imperfections and inconsistencies. If the reason for their brilliance lies not in their perfection but in their imperfections, it is a great waste.
In the first place, from the machine’s point of view, noisy and unnecessary information is actually the essence of humanity and the fun of it. In the new age of AI, where AI will do the rational things for us, the time may come when human irrationality and emotional fluctuations will have their own unique value.
