結婚と利害の一致

うちの奥様の機嫌が最近悪い。なぜだろう？　どうやら自分は、まったく意識しないで、人を傷つけていることがるようだから、それが15年ほどで積み重なった結果だろうか。

人はそれぞれ、自分の興味や目的を持っています。友達といると楽しいという人もいるし、一人旅をしてる時が最高という人もいる。未知の場所で、ちょっと危険な場所に旅している時が最高という人もいれば、家でゆっくり本を読んでいる時が最高と思う人もいる。

結婚や友情など、人との関係は簡単には考えが一致しないことが多い。たとえば、自分の場合、時間が経つにつれて、やりたいことがどんどん変わってくる。変化がないとどうしょうもなくなる。奥さんの場合は、変化より安定のほうが、圧倒的に心地良いのかもしない。

結婚。一緒に生活をすることを約束した二人が、長い時間をかけてお互いを支え合う関係。もともと最初から違う考え方や目的を持った二人。少しずつお互いを理解し、調整していくことが大切なはずなのだけれど、自分の力不足かそれがいまいちできない。

結婚で大切なのは、相手を選び続けることだと先輩が言っていた。一緒にいることで、お互いに成長し、理解を深めていくことができる。たとえ意見が違っても、お互いを尊重し、支え合うことで、困難を乗り越える力が生まれると。もちろん、そうなのだろうけれど、なかなかこれが一筋縄ではいかない。まあ、難しいなあ。

Marriage and Conflicts of Interest
My wife has been in a bad mood lately. I wonder why.I seem to hurt people without realising it, and I wonder if this is the result of the accumulation of these feelings over the last 15 years or so.

People have their own interests and goals. Some people enjoy being with friends, others are best when they are alone. Some people are best when travelling to unknown and slightly dangerous places, others when relaxing at home with a good book.

Relationships with others, such as marriages and friendships, are often not easy. In my case, for example, what I want to do changes over time. If there is no change, I get depressed. In my wife’s case, stability seems much more comfortable than change.

Marriage. A relationship between two people who have made a commitment to live together and support each other for a long time. They started out with different ideas and goals. It should be important for them to understand each other and adapt gradually, but they are unable to do so, perhaps because of my own inability to do so.

One senior said that the most important thing in marriage is to keep choosing the partner. By staying together, you can grow and deepen your understanding of each other. Even if you disagree, respecting and supporting each other will give you the strength to overcome difficulties. Of course this is true, but it is not easy. Sometimes It is really difficult.
