最近、ステルスウェルス、ステルスウェルスとよく聞く。最近の傾向として、ルイヴィトンのモノグラムなどわかりやすいブランドは敬遠されているようだ。

そもそも、人の前に立つ人、特に小売店系の人は、ステルスウェルスのほうが共感を持たれやすい気がする。アマゾンのジェフ・ベソスさんが2013年まで長らくホンダアコードワゴンに乗ってたというのも有名な話。

それでいうと、ルイヴィトンのモノグラムはステルスウェルスの真逆。昔はどこもかしこもモノグラム。ステルスウェルスと真逆のロレックスやモノグラム。どっちがクールというのはその時々でまったく変わる。ステルスウェルスのほうに行ったり、真逆に戻ってきたり。

まあでも、一番重要なのは、そのとき自分が何を一番心地よく感じることができるか。それだけでいいのかもしれない。

ちなみに2013年以降ジェフ・ベソスさんもは車の趣味がかわり、今はブガッティやライカン、フェラーリなど所有しているよう。
