静寂は貴重

先月インドに行った際に、インド最南端の海で見た朝日と夕陽は最高だった。今は沖縄の古宇利島、ここも間違いなく最高で、夕陽も朝日も格別。ただ、じつは沖縄やインドなど場所をこだわらずとも、静かな場所で海と朝日と夕陽であれば、どこでも良い気がする。海一面に朝日と夕陽が見える静かな場所だったら、どこでも同じ感覚が味わえるのでは？　とにかく、この時代静寂はとっても貴重だ。

Silence is precious.
When I was in India last month, the sunrise and sunset I saw in the southernmost Indian Ocean were fantastic. Now I’m on Kouri Island in Okinawa, which is also definitely the best, with exceptional sunsets and sunrises. But I feel that it doesn’t matter where you go, Okinawa or India, as long as it’s a quiet place with the sea, sunrise and sunset, it doesn’t matter. If it’s a quiet place where you can see the sunrise and sunset all over the sea, you can have the same feeling anywhere. Anyway, silence is very precious these days.
