メガネ屋を営ませていただき15年。先日、オーナーさんが心から好きなものを集めたというお店に行き、改めて感じたこと。

わざわざ来店してくださるお客様にどうやって喜んでいただこうと試行錯誤するよりも、お店の方自身が、そのもの自体を楽しんでいるかのほうが、こちらもはるかに楽しく充実して買い物ができる。

やはり物事を心から楽しんでいる方には、どんな小手先の技術もやはり及ばない。

I have been an optician for 15 years.

The other day I was in a shop where the owner had collected things he really liked and felt good about.
Rather than trying to figure out how to please the customers who come all the way to the shop, it is much more enjoyable and fulfilling to shop if the shop owner himself enjoys the shop.

No amount of fancy techniques can compare with someone who really enjoys what they do.
