今は、どこか行こうとした時、調べれば大抵情報がある。すごく便利だけれど、それが度を超すと情報を確認行く作業になってしまう。

最近はライブなどでも、ライブ自体を楽しむより、皆がスマホのカメラで写真や動画を撮影。SNSにポストすることのほうが目的になっているという。

思えば自分もちょこちょこ経験がある。息子のお遊戯会や運動会でビデオばかりに集中し、肝心のその場の演技じゃなくスクリーンのみ見ていて、生では見ていない。

体験そのものを楽しむこと。前情報がない素晴らしさ。投稿したSNSに対しての人からの「いいね」やコメントなどは快感をよぶけれど、改めて体験そのものの楽しみを追求しても良いかもしれない。

Nowadays, if you want to go somewhere, you can usually find information by looking it up. It’s very convenient, but if you take it too far, it becomes a process of checking information.

Recently, even at live concerts, people are taking photos and videos with their smartphone cameras and posting them on social networking sites, rather than enjoying the concert itself.

When I think about it, I have had a few experiences myself. At my son’s playground or sports day, I concentrated only on the video, watching only the screen, not the performance, which is the important part, and not seeing it live.

Enjoying the experience itself. The glory of having no prior information. Although the likes and comments from people on social networking sites are a pleasant sensation, it might be good to go back to the enjoyment of the experience itself.
