西郷隆盛も自己の座右の書としていたという佐藤一斎先生の言志四録。江戸時代後期のお言葉だけれど、現在聞いても、身に染みることばかり。
志なくダラダラやっていることが自分には結構あるのではないか。うーん。

Sato Issai’s (Genshi Shiroku: Words to polish the heart) is said to have been written by Saigo Takamori as his personal ‘right hand book’. Although these words were written in the late Edo period, they are still very relevant today.
I think I have a lot of things that I do lazily, without any ambition. Hmmm…
