マカオ珠海「港珠澳大橋」

今日はまず、13kmぐるっとタイパ島を朝ラン。マカオのタイパ島を朝ランニングしていると、川向こうはすぐ中国の珠海。

なんだかんだ12年ほどマカオにきているけれど、マカオ側に新たなカジノはまだまだバンバン立ち続けているし、珠海側にも本当に多くのビルが建った。

マカオの友人に聞くと、最近は香港に遊びにいくよりも、珠海に遊びにいくことのほうが多いという。

「港珠澳大橋」が2018年開通してから、香港から陸でも簡単にマカオ＆珠海まで行けるようになったし、本当に開発が目まぐるしい。香港島方面だと、マカオからはいまだにフェリー、ターボジェットのほうが便利だけれど、香港空港ならバスがダントツ便利になった。なんだか、やっぱりすごいなあ。中国。

Today I started with a 13km morning run around Taipa Island. When you run in the morning on Taipa Island in Macau, I can see Zhuhai in China just across the river.

I’ve been in Macau for about 12 years, but there are still a lot of new casinos being built on the Macau side and a lot of buildings being built on the Zhuhai side.

When I ask my friends in Macau, they say they go to Zhuhai more than Hong Kong these days.

Since the opening of the Pearl Harbour Bridge in 2018, it has become easy to reach Macau and Zhuhai by land from Hong Kong. To Hong Kong Island, turbo jets are still more convenient from Macau, but buses are now the most convenient way to get to Hong Kong Airport. Still amazing China.
