インドネシアは、ニッケルにおけるサウジアラビア？
以前、3年ほど世界人口４位。爆発的に人口がいるので、そこでWEB事業をということでインドネシア、ジャカルタで仕事をしていたことがあるのだけど、最近インドネシアは資源の面でも注目されているようだ。電気自動車用バッテリーの重要な構成要素であるニッケルの地球最大の埋蔵量を誇るらしい。
石油産業の始まりは1859年ごろからだという。これからの時代はどの産業になるのだろう？

Is Indonesia the Saudi Arabia of nickel?
I used to work in Jakarta, Indonesia, because of the population explosion and I wanted to do web business there, but recently Indonesia seems to be attracting a lot of attention in terms of resources. It is said to have the world’s largest reserves of nickel, an important component of electric car batteries.
The oil industry is said to have started around 1859. What industry will it be in the future?
