どぎつい。
11月ハワイ島コナであるトライアスロンの長い版ウルトラマン（スイム10km、バイク420km、ラン84km）の下見をした。ハワイのウルトラマンは、どこか一つ別のウルトラマンを完走していないと参加できず、そんなウルトラマン完走者も、ハワイは制限時間に間に合わず脱落するきついコースだと聞いてはいたけれど、確かにきつい。
ハワイ島を丸々一周する贅沢なコースだけれど、海はうねるし、バイクのコースが噂どおり、半端ない。長い上に、どぎつい登り。これは今から改めてしっかり練習しないと。

I previewed a longer version of the Ultraman triathlon (10km swim, 420km bike, 84km run) in Hawaii in November. I’d heard that the Hawaii Ultraman requires to have done another Ultraman before you can enter, and that even those who have done Ultraman have dropped out of the Hawaii race because they couldn’t make the time limit, but it is indeed a tough course.
The course is a luxury course that goes around the entire island of Hawaii, but the ocean is bumpy and the bike course is rumoured to be half-assed. It’s long and has some steep climbs. I’m going to have to train hard.
