娘たちのピアノの発表会。３女はピアノの練習は、いつも嫌々やっているように見えたけれど、そんな３女も、やはり本番はうまくいかないと悔しかったよう。

悔しさがあるっていうのはいい。悔しさがなくなると何も生まれない。

そういえば、子供のピアノの発表会。毎回最後に必ず難しい曲を弾かれる大人の方がいて、先生か何かと思っていたら、実は生徒さんのお母さん。もともと子供が習っていて、子供との連弾でピアノに目覚め、お母さんのほうがのめり込んでピアノを続けているとのこと。

まったくピアノ経験のない漁師の方が、藤子ヘミングのラカンパネラに感動、ひたすらラカンパネラだけを弾いて、弾けるようになったというケースもある。

やはり、なんでも、できるできないかは、そのことをどこまで本当にやりたいかという意思による。

The daughters’ piano recital

3 girls who looked like they were dreading it, but were still frustrated when they didn’t get it right in the performance.

It’s good to be frustrated. If you don’t have frustration, you don’t get anything out of it.

In one case, a fisherman with no piano experience was so impressed by Hemming Fujiko’s La Campanella that he learned to play the piano by playing only La Campanella.

After all, perhaps the key to being able to do anything is the willingness to go as far as you really want to.
