21世紀に月面着陸を成功させた唯一の国、中国。

中国が、2030年までに月面に人を着陸させる計画であると、政府関係者が発表。

2045年までに中国が宇宙における米国の能力を追い越す可能性があると言われている中国。21世紀に月面着陸に成功した唯一の国であり、2019年には月の裏側に探査機を初めて着陸させた中国。

NASAは2025年を目標に再び月面に人を乗せたいと考えているが、アルテミス計画は遅れている。そして、1960年代から70年代にかけてのアメリカのアポロ計画以来、人類が月に降り立ったことはない。

先日行ったマカオで、マカオ人の友人は、最近は週末は中国に遊びに行く。グランピングのいい施設もできたし、おしゃれなカフェなどもある。以前は中国に行くなんてことは考えられなかったが、今はむしろ中国のほうが進んでいるの印象と言っていた。

宇宙も、これからの時代は、中国が主権を握るんじゃないだろうか。

On a recent visit to Macau, a Macanese friend went to China for a weekend. There are good glamping facilities and trendy cafes now. I used to think it was unthinkable to go to China, but now I feel that China is more advanced.

I think in the future China will be the sovereign of space.
