月面着陸ミッションのispace
宇宙ベンチャーのispace。ほんとすごい！今回の月面着陸には失敗してしまったけれど、日本で新興宇宙企業で初の上場の企業だし、着々と実績を積んでいる。
トップの袴田さんは、じつは自分が一番最初に宇宙旅行を契約した際2005年近辺で、ロスなどで同じ宇宙会議に参加していた。その当時はもちろん、会社もないし何もなかったわけで、多くの人が採算がとれる宇宙企業を民間で立ち上げたいと思ってはいたものの、自分もふくめ、99.999%の人は脱落した。
当時イーロン・マスク氏も宇宙会議にいらっしゃったけれど、もちろんテスラもスペースXもなく、イーロン・マスク氏の講演にも人がまばらな時代。
そんなところから、現在、イーロン・マスク氏のスペースXの宇宙船で、同じく袴田さんの月面探査機が、月に果敢に挑戦しているとは、本当すごい！
この違いはやはりしっかりとした思いの違いということになるのだろうか？とにかく袴田さんのispace、ぜひ引き続き果敢に宇宙に挑戦しつづけてほしい。

Lunar landing mission ispace.
The space company ispace is truly impressive! It may not have landed on the moon this time, but it is the first Japanese space start-up to go public, and it is steadily building a track record of success.
The head of the company, Mr Hakamada, was actually at the same space conference in Los Angeles and other cities around 2005 when he signed his first space contract. At that time, of course, there were no companies or anything, and although many people wanted to start a profitable space company in the private sector, 99.999% of them, including myself, dropped out.
Elon Musk was at the Space Conference at the time, but of course there was no Tesla or SpaceX, and Elon Musk’s talks were sparsely attended.
It is truly amazing that from such a place, today, Mr Hakamada’s lunar probe is boldly challenging the moon in Mr Musk’s SpaceX spacecraft!
Could it be that the difference is still a difference of spirit? In any case, we hope that Mr Hakamada’s ispace will continue to boldly challenge space.
