The most important thing is to align the vectors of “what I am good at, what I can devote myself to more than anyone else” and “the needs of society and the company”.
Satoshi Nakajima, IT engineer and entrepreneur, said that the most important thing is to align the vectors of “what you are good at, what you can devote yourself to more than anyone else” and “the needs of society and the company”, and how happy he would be if he could really do that.
Today I’ve been queuing since 7am to sign up for a backflip class at a nearby community gym. Registration opens at 9am, but it is first come, first served and you have to be there two hours before to register. Renewals take place every three months and it is always first come, first served, so more people get a chance each time.
The children, unusually, want to do it themselves, so once every three months they queue up in the morning as part of Dad’s job.
It doesn’t matter if it’s studying, sports, games or plastic modelling, but if the children can align the vector of ‘what they are good at, what they are more passionate about than anyone else, and what society and the company needs’, they will be really happy.
