誇れる点は弱い意志力です
一昨年ぐらいから糖質制限を始め、ここ最近まではうまくいっていた。
最初こそストイックに糖質を制限していたけれど、2年たった現在「14時までは、糖質があろうが何を食べても良い」「夜であっても、芋は食べて良い、餃子は食べて良い」など、都合が良いルールを勝手に作り、気づくと体重が3kgも増えてしまっていた。
自分の得意な点は、意志力。自分で決めた物事を続けること、自分自身に課したルールを徹底して続けることだと思っていたけれど、なんのどっこい、なんとも弱い意志力で、都合よく現実や解釈を歪曲し辻褄をあわせようとしていたことか。
誇れる点は?と聞かれた際など「誇れる点は意志力です!」と答えていた自分。。今日から今一度習慣を見直そう。

One thing I’m proud of is my weak willpower!
I started restricting sugar the year before last and things were going well until recently.
At first I was stoically restricting carbohydrates, but now, two years later, I have made up my own convenient rules, such as “I can eat anything until 2pm, even if it has carbohydrates” and “I can eat potatoes and dumplings even at night”, and have found that my weight has increased by 3kg.
My strength is my willpower. I thought I was good at sticking to the things I set out to do and sticking to the rules I set out for myself, but how weak my willpower was and how conveniently I distorted reality and interpretations to make things add up.
I am proud of my willpower! Let’s take another look at my habits today!
