1992年の本だけれど、これから素人が宇宙へ行く際のバイブル本「宇宙よ」
昨日に引き続き、1992年発行、立花さんと秋山さんの「宇宙よ」を読んでいる。
とっても面白い。面白いところが多すぎるのだけれど、以下一部抜粋

星の街の宇宙飛行士たちを見ていると、誰もが好きになるような魅力ある人物ばかりというわけじゃないんですよね。宇宙飛行士に共通しているのは、酒好き、女好きという人間的な側面を除けば（笑）、忍耐強さじゃないかと思う。性格ということでいえば、「俺が俺が」というか、我が強い人が多かったですね。太陽のように暖かい、そばに坐っているだけで人柄のよさがつたわってくるというような人はあまりいなかった。それでかえて、やはりここはプロの世界なんだ、と感じました。人柄とか協調性が大事だと協調されるけれども、むしろ自分に与えられた仕事をきちんとやることが第一に求められている、そういう意味でプロの世界だと思ったんです。（秋山さん）
以前マナロフに、ソ連では宇宙飛行士機に求められる資質は何かと質問したら、一番大事なのは忍耐力、2番目に義務遂行脳梁、そしてもう一つは協調性だと、この３つを挙げていました。（立花さん）

友人の詩人の詩の最後に、こんな２行があるんですよ。「遠くのほうに行って／他人のように暮らしたい」上（ソユーズ）でもそんな滞在意識があったからか、宇宙の闇を「何もかもいやになっちゃったら、あっちのほうに行っちゃおうかなあ、っていう感じがするくらい魅力的」といった。誰もしらいところで誰も知らない形で生きたいという気持ちが、ぼくの中にはあるんです（秋山さん）

本当にとにかく面白い。これ1992年の本だけれど、民間人素人でも宇宙に行けるようになってきた今でこそ面白い。素人が宇宙に行くためのバイブル本だ！！

It’s really interesting. This book was written in 1992, but it is only interesting now that it has become possible for amateur civilians to go into space. It’s the bible for amateurs going into space!
