生涯で圧倒的な数の作品をつくったというピカソ。生涯におよそ1万3500点の油絵と素描、10万点の版画、3万4000点の挿絵、300点の彫刻と陶器を制作し、最も多作な美術家であると『ギネスブック』にも記されている。（参照Wikipedia）

そんなことを知ると、うだうだ言う前に、まず自分には圧倒的に量が足りてないと思い知る。

Picasso produced a staggering amount of work in his lifetime. He is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most prolific artist, having produced some 13,500 oil paintings and drawings, 100,000 prints, 34,000 illustrations, 300 sculptures and ceramics during his lifetime. (See Wikipedia)

When you know that, before you start to ramble on, the first thing you realise is that you are overwhelmingly lacking in quantity.
