「辺境・近境」旅にでたくなる一冊

今日は村上春樹さんの７つの旅のエッセイ「辺境・近境」をAudibleの聴き放題で聞いた。

さすが村上春樹さん、村上春樹さんが語ると何もかもが作品になる。

村上春樹さんは、本はもちろん昔からたくさん読まれていると思うのだけれど、じつはかなり自分の体一つ、世界中いたるところへフィールドワークもされてきたんだろう。そんなことを改めて感じさせてくれる村上春樹さんらしい素敵な一冊。

旅に理由はない。旅とは理不尽なもの。旅とは問題のショーケース。

旅にまた出たくなる。「辺境・近境」そんな一冊。

Today I listened to Haruki Murakami’s seven travel essays ‘Frontiers and Nearby’ on Audible’s unlimited listening service.

When Haruki Murakami talks, everything becomes a work of art.

Haruki Murakami has read a lot of books, of course, but he has also done a lot of fieldwork all over the world.

It makes me want to travel again. A book about ‘frontiers and near-frontiers’. This is a wonderful book that reminds us of that.
