人はウソを隠すのではなく信じ込む

人はウソをつくと隠すのではなく、自分自身がそのウソを信じ込む方向に行くらしい。

言われてみると確かにそうかもしれない。これを聞いて頭に浮かんだのは、たとえば、カルト宗教の教祖。ウソをウソとしてと説得する人と、最初はウソでもそのウソを信じて説得してくる人は、説得力はものすごい。

日常生活もきっと同じ。ウソはウソとしてではなく、本当のこととして信じ込んでしまったほうが、圧倒的に楽。

なんでこんなことが？？と思うことがたまにあるけれど、そういった突拍子もないことなどは、世の中ウソを隠すのではなく、信じ込む。この結果なのかもしれない。

People don’t hide lies, they believe them
It is said that when people tell a lie, they do not hide it, but continue to believe it themselves.

This may well be true. When I heard this, I thought of cult leaders, for example. People who convince people to believe the lie, even if it is a lie at first, have a tremendous power of persuasion.

Surely it is the same in everyday life. It is far easier to believe a lie .

How could this be? Sometimes wonder how it could be, but such extraordinary things are not the result of hiding lies in the world, but of believing them. This may be the result.
