見せたいものしか見せてくれない。

現在良かれ悪かれ、スマホとネットのおかげで、自分の周りの情報も、何かを調べる際も、さらにはニュースまで、自分用にパーソナライズされて、自分の見たいものだけがでてくる。

逆に言うと、見せたいものしか見せてくれない。YouTubeなどでも、アルゴリズムが自分が一度見て興味のもった動画をどんどん勧めてくるし、買い物でアマゾンを見る時もそう。さらにはSNSなど、なおさらだ。

効率よく気持ち良い反面、違う分野のことには、意識しないと、なかなか辿り着かない時代だ。

そんな毎日、もちろん心地良いけれど、その反面、ほんと思考がすぐ「湯でガエル」状態になってしまうので、やはりリアルで、ネットからでて、おすすめされない場所や人に会うのがますます欠かせない。

こんな便利な時代だからこそ、定期的にオススメされない、場所にいこう。

They only show you what I want to show you.

Nowadays, for better or worse, thanks to smartphones and the internet, the information around me, when I look something up, and even the news, is personalised for me, only see what I want to see.

In other words, I am only shown what I want to see: on YouTube, for example, the algorithm will recommend videos that I have watched once and are interested in, and the same goes for browsing Amazon for shopping. And even more so on social networking sites.

While it is efficient and pleasant, we live in an age where it is difficult to get to different fields unless I am aware of them.

It is of course comfortable, but on the other hand, it is also very easy to get into a ‘acting without thinking’ , so it is increasingly essential to go out in the real world, off the internet, and meet people and places that are not recommended.

In this age of convenience, let’s go to places that are not recommended on a regular basis.
