23 hours of recovery
I went to bed early yesterday because my body felt tired. After all, when I get enough sleep, my body recovers easily and understandably. However, my Garmin still says I need another 23 hours of recovery.
When I think about the 515km ultraman, the long version of a triathlon, or how hard I pushed myself when I summited Mount Everest, I tend to push myself to such an extent, but I am 44 years old. When I comfort my body, I need to comfort it well and “take care of myself”, otherwise I will lose power at the critical moment.
Normally, I would get back into the swing of things and swim or run, but I’m going to follow my Garmin and rest for the rest of the day.
