本日タイ。もう普通にタイは、クレジットでほぼいけるかと思ったらダメだった。まず電車のチケットがクレジットで買えない。で、LINE Payが使えるという情報があったんだけれど、それもダメ。

シンガポールは、クレジットカードでビザタッチでチケット買う必要なく、電車も自由に乗れたし、街でもビザタッチがどこでも使えてので、まったく両替しなくて済んだけれど、タイはそうはいかなかった。

今回、現金持ってきていなく、キャッシュカードも忘れてしまったので、今回はビザカードでキャッシング。

いつもは、キャッシュカードで銀行口座から引き出しているのだけれど、クレジットカードを使ったキャッシングでも5万円ぐらい引き出して1000円ぐらいの手数料のよう。この手数料だと、場合によったら、両替より安くなるのかな？

とりあえず、到着して、すぐ目当てのメガネ屋さんに向かう。やはり素晴らしいメガネ屋さん！！

ただ、こちらもクレジットはダメだった。その後は、オーナーさんから教えていただいたレストランとBARに行ってみて大変素敵だったのだけれど、BARは、クレジットカードが使えない。

結局、今日は、半分はクレジット不可だった。明日は朝から1日だけベトナム。この分だと、ベトナムも、現金がないとまだダメそうだな。

Thailand . Don’t go without cash.
Today Thailand. I thought I could almost go to Thailand with credit, but no. First of all, I can’t buy train tickets with credit. And I had heard that Line Pay could be used, but that was no use either.

In Singapore, I could take trains freely, and I didn’t have to exchange money at all because Visa Touch was available everywhere in town, but this was not the case in Thailand.

This time, I didn’t bring any cash and forgot my cash card, so I used my Visa card to get a cash.

Normally, I withdraw money from my bank account, but even with using a credit card, it seems that there is a fee of about ¥1,000 for withdrawing about ¥50,000. With this fee, it may be cheaper than exchanging money, depending on the situation.

Anyway, I arrived and headed straight for the glasses shop I wanted. As I thought, a great glasses shop!

However, credit was not accepted here either. After that, I went to a restaurant and a bar that the owner told us about, which were very nice, but the bar didn’t accept credit cards.

In the end, half of today was no credit available. Tomorrow I will be in Vietnam for one day from the morning. At this rate, it looks like Vietnam will still be no good without cash.
