タイ、ベトナムも、現金は一切なくてもOKか？

最近、日本では一切現金を使わない。クレジットすら使わず、携帯しか持ち歩いていない。

来週、4日ほど、タイ、ベトナムに行く。今年行ったカナダ、フランス、シンガポールはまったく現金持っていかず、一切現金は使わなかったけれど、タイ、ベトナムもOKか？

タイは2年ぶり？タイはビザタッチや、最近は市場でも日本のLINEPAYも使えるっぽいし、たぶんOKだろうけれど、ベトナムはどうなんだろう？

まあ、でもどうとでもなると思うし、現金はやっぱり一切持っていかずに行こう。

自分が学生の頃、バックパッカーとして巡ってた時は、こんなキャッシュレスまったく想像もつかなかったけれど、そういえば、あれから30年。

そりゃ30年も経てば、世界もキャッシュレスにぐらいにはなるか。

Are Thailand and Vietnam OK without any cash at all?
I’m going to Thailand and Vietnam next week for four days. I went to Canada, France and Singapore this year without taking any cash . and didn’t use any cash at all, but is Thailand and Vietnam OK?

Thailand for the first time in two years? Thailand is probably OK even if I don’t bring any cash, because I can use Visa Touch and Japanese LINEPAY, but what about Vietnam?

When I was a student backpacking around as a backpacker, I couldn’t imagine going cashless like this at all.
