メタップス創業者の佐藤航陽さんが紹介していた本、「ジュリアン・アサンジ自伝」を実際すべて読んでみた。

匿名により政府、企業、宗教などに関する機密情報を公開するウェブサイト、ウィキリークスを創業するまで、そして書かれた本。アメリカなど各国を敵にまわし、国際指名手配で、現時点ではイギリスで収監中。なお、現在アメリカが機密漏洩など17件で起訴しており、アメリカに引き渡された場合、最高で禁錮175年が言い渡されるという。

ちなみに本は、アマゾンでは販売停止になってしまっている。

一言でいうと、自分のNetflixで一番好きなドラマ「ハウスオブカード」のリアル版。世の中の上の上の権力と世界を動かしている人に楯突くと本当に、ドラマのようなことが起こっているのだろうという本。突然の汚名、ハニートラップ、ある日突然、犯罪者に仕立て上げられていたなどなど、「ハウスオブカード」の中のことはすべて現実じゃないかと思わせる本。

元CIAで機密情報を暴露したとしてアメリカに追われ現在ロシア国籍になったスノーデン氏「スノーデン消せない記憶」とともに、世界の見えない部分を想像させる本、まさに事実は小説より奇なり。

‘Facts are stranger than fiction’ WikiLeaks founder, 175 years in prison. Julian Assange.
I actually read all of the book ‘The Autobiography of Julian Assange’, which was introduced by Koyo Sato, founder of Metaps.

The book tells the story of how he founded WikiLeaks, a website that anonymously publishes confidential information about governments, businesses and religions. He has made enemies in the US and other countries, is wanted internationally and is currently imprisoned in the UK.

The US has charged him with 17 counts, including leaking secrets, and if he is extradited to the US, he will be sentenced to a maximum of 175 years’ imprisonment.

In addition, the book has been suspended from sale on Amazon.

It is a real-life version of my favourite Netflix drama House of Cards. The book is about what really, really happens when you challenge the power above the world and the people who run the world, and how it must be like in the drama. Tsudden stigmatisation, honey traps, being framed as a criminal one day, etc.

Snowden’s’ The Unerasable Memory’, a former CIA officer who was forced to leave the US for revealing classified information and is now a Russian citizen, this is a book that makes you imagine the invisible parts of the world, and indeed.
