100均 →メルカリ or アマゾン
最近の身の回りの買い物。何かちょっとしたものを買うとなるとまず100均。100均でなかったら、メルカリ。それでもなかったら、アマゾン。
ちなみにメルカリには300円送料込みで、100均のものが売られてたりする。もうなくなっちゃった100均のものや、近場の100均にないものなどは、メルカリで買う。
それでもないものや、急ぎのものはアマゾン。もうこの流れで、大抵のものが本当に手軽に、さらに安く手に入るようになった。
そういえば、ちょっとした身の回りのものだけじゃなく、ゲームでも洋服でも、ジュエリーでも、家電でも、自分の場合は、すべてこれだけで完結してしまっているといってもいいかもしれない。
そう、まったく話が飛ぶけれど、先日100均で買った英語が描いてある可愛いげなポーチや手提げ袋。
ここに描いてある英語の内容などじっくり内容を読む人はいないと思うけれど、ひょんなことからたまたま読んでみたら、可愛げな魔女の宅急便の黒猫ジジみたいなイラストの横の英語が、戦争で人が何人死んだという記事だった。
え？と思い家にあった他のものをみてみると、英語の敷き詰められた紙のラッピングバックに描いてある英語が、安倍政権の批判の記事だった。
勿論、すべてそうではないとは思うけれど、中国の工場などでも作っている100均の品物は、適当にその時のニュースを英語にでも訳しているのかな。で、自分も含め日本人はまったくそれに気づくことなく使っているという。これはこれで、なかなか面白い。
とにかく、話脱線してしまったけれど、100均 →メルカリ or アマゾン、もうこれで買い物は十分だ。

100 Yen Shop → Mercari or Amazon
When I want to buy something, I first go to 100 Yen Shop, if not 1100 Yen Shop, I go to Mercari. If it’s still not there, I go to Amazon.
By the way, some 100-yen items are sold on Mercari for 300 yen including postage. I buy things on Mercari if they are no longer available or if I can’t find them at the nearest 100-yen shop.
If I still can’t find something, or if I’m in a hurry, I go to Amazon. This trend has made it really easy and cheap to get most things.
I can probably say that in my case, games, clothes, jewellery, home appliances, etc., have all been completed with just this.
Speaking of which, and this is totally off topic, but cute-looking pouches and handbags with English drawings on them that I bought at a 100-yen shop.
I don’t think anyone would take the time to read the English on them, but I happened to read it and found that the English next to the cute illustration, which looked like Gigi the black cat from Witch’s Delivery Service, was an article about how many people had died in the war.
What? I looked at other things in the house and found that the English on the English-lined paper wrapping bag was an article criticising the Abe administration.
Of course, I don’t think this is the case for all items, but I wonder if the 100 Yen Shop of items that are also made in Chinese factories are translated into English from the news of the day as appropriate. And Japanese people, including myself, are using them without noticing it at all. This is quite interesting.
Anyway, 100 Yen Shop → Mercari or Amazon, that’s enough shopping for me.
