I have learnt some things from a sport that involves danger. The point is that you mustn’t push the limits. It’s OK to go as far as you can. That’s the kind of cliffhanger moment we’re looking for in the first place. But you must not go over the limit. We must also be honest with ourselves. You have to know your abilities and limits and live within them. The same can be said of business. The sooner a company tries to go beyond its means, the sooner it tries to have it all, the sooner it will die. Perhaps it is time to adopt a Zen approach.
