その方の生きてきた何十年。さらには何百年。

本当に久しぶりに夜、先輩の紹介で、それぞれの分野で活躍されている方々とのお食事会に参加させていただいた。

日本では、最近は、メガネ屋でのお客様と、日々やっているスイムなどの方々以外、人と会うことはほぼない。

新たな方々との出会いは、その方の何十年という歳月の日々を、もっというと、その方のご両親、さらには、祖父祖母の代のお話しまで、何百年という歳月のお話しをお伺いできる。

実際に人と対面でお話しをお伺いさせていただけるというのは、やっぱり良いものだなあ。

The decades that the person has lived. And even more, hundreds of years.
I had the opportunity to attend a dinner party at night with people who are active in their respective fields .

Meeting new people gives me the opportunity to hear stories about decades of their lives, or even more specifically, stories about their parents, grandparents, and even grandparents, spanning hundreds of years.

It is a wonderful thing to be able to talk to people face to face.
