アメリカの詩人ヘンリー・ワズワース・ロングフェローのことわざに由来しているといわれるアメリカの諺。

取り越し苦労をするな。

将来の問題が実際に目の前に来るまでは、悩んだり心配するな。

普通に生活していて80％以上、いや90％以上、このようば取り越し苦労で何かを無駄にしている気がする。

まさに、橋に来るまでは橋を渡るな！

Don’t fret or worry about future problems until they are actually in front of you.

I feel that more than 80%, or even 90%, of our normal lives, we waste something because of these kinds of oversights.
