6月20日より、すべてのドローンの機体登録制度義務化

6月20日から、すべてのドローンの機体登録が必須になり、100g以上の機体登録のないドローンは一切飛ばせなくなった。

なお、今後の機体はリモートIDもすべて必須になる。ただし、特例として、リモートIDのないモデルでも6月19日までに事前登録すれば、リモートIDは必要ない。

自分の持っている機体、DJI Air 2SとFPVはリモートID掲載なので、6月19日以降の登録でも、機体登録さえすれば、まったく問題なく使える。

けれど、Mavic MiniはリモートID掲載じゃないモデルだったので、駆け込みで、6月19日ギリギリ登録完了。しかしMavic Miniは、事前登録しておかなくては、別でリモートIDの機械を買わなければ、使えなくなるところだった。

ドローン機体登録とリモートIDが必須になったということで、悲しんでいる人もいるけれど、まあこれは、当然と言えば当然。DJIのFPVなどは、使い方によっては飛ぶ凶器だし、ドローンはかなり危険なので、今までこのような制度がなかったのが不思議なくらい。

今年の12月からはドローン免許も国家資格になるというし、これを機にしっかりと、ドローンの一級資格取得を目指してみようかな？

Aircraft Registration System Mandatory for All Drones Starting June 20

Effective June 20, all drones will be required to register their aircraft, and any drone without an aircraft registration will not be allowed to fly.Remote ID will also become mandatory for those who have not registered their aircraft by June 19.

As a special exception to the pre-registration, models without a Remote ID do not require a Remote ID if they are pre-registered by June 19.

However, the Mavic Mini was a non-Remote ID model, so if I had not registered it in advance, I would have had to buy a separate Remote ID machine to use it.

Some people are saddened by the fact that drone aircraft registration and remote ID is now required, but this is to be expected; DJI FPV, for example, is a flying deadly weapon, and drones are quite dangerous depending on how they are used, so it’s a wonder it wasn’t done before.

As of this December, drone licenses will become national certifications, so let’s take this opportunity to get it right and get our first class certification!
