「Naked and Afraid（邦題 全裸サバイバル)」ディスカバリーチャンネルはとても好きだけれど、こんなシリーズがあるのを初めて知った。もうシーズン４だ。

2013年から始まっていたというこの番組。

面識のない一組の男女が野生の中で21日間を生き延びられるかを観察するドキュメンタリー番組。各エピソードは、初めて会い、21日間裸で荒野での滞在を生き残るという任務を与えられた2人の生存者（男性1人、女性1人）の生活を記録。各サバイバル奏者は、マチェーテやファイヤースターターなどの役立つアイテムを1つ持参できるが、水や食料、服は持ち込めない。割り当てられた場所で会った後、裸で食料を確保し、シェルターを作り、火をおこさなければならない。パートナーは避難所を建設し、水と食べ物を見つける必要がある。各話一話完結で、各エピソードごとに新しいカップルが登場し、互いに全裸のままで初対面し、アマゾンの密林やサバンナといった過酷な野生環境の中で、21日間を生き延びることが出来るかというタスクを課される。

なぜ、裸なのか？裸である男女である必要があるのか？やはりアダムとイブを意識してのことなのか？

現代社会にどっぷり浸かってしまった自分は、直感で「やっぱり、裸だよね！」とは思えないが『身も心も裸になる！男女二人のサバイバル The Naked』凝り固まった価値観をほぐすべくぜひ、ご覧あれ。

Naked and Afraid

I really like the Discovery Channel, but I’ve never heard of this series before. It’s already season 4.

This program was started in 2013.

Naked and Afraid is an American reality series that airs on the Discovery Channel. Each episode chronicles the lives of two survivalists (1 man; 1 woman) who meet for the first time naked and are given the task of surviving a stay in the wilderness for 21 days.Each survivalist is allowed to bring one helpful item, such as a machete or a fire starter. After they meet in the assigned locale, the partners must build a shelter and find water and food.

I am so immersed in the modern society that I don’t intuitively think, “After all, I have to be naked first!”

But please watch “Survival of Two Men and Two Women: The Naked” to loosen your hardened sense of values.
