また情報リテラシーについての項目、これも子供だけじゃなく、今の世界では、絶対に必要な項目だ。

重要な情報リテラシー
情報リテラシーで重要なことは、受け手が情報を自己責任で見極められることです。そのために、次の３つのことを意識していただくことが効果的です。
①主観と客観の見極め
その情報は、誰かの思いや考えを述べたものに過ぎないのか、根拠やデータに基づいたものなのか。
②一次情報と二次情報の見極め
その情報は、発信者本人が直接的に体験から得たもの、考察、調査や実験の結果（一次情報）なのか、それとも他者を通して得られた情報（二次情報）なのか
③真実と思われれるものに対する科学的アプローチ
根拠やデータに基づいたものであっても、すべては最も確からしい仮説であると考え、常に矛盾はないか、論理の飛躍はないかと疑問をぶつけ確認（反照）を続ける

最近の公的機関の教育でもこのような素晴らしいものがあるのかと思いちょっと調べてみると、家庭教育支援リーフレットというもので、文部科学省の家庭教育支援チームが地域ごとに出しているらしい。
子供は自由に育ってくれるのが一番。リーフレットにも書いてあるように、子供たちの安心・安全をしっかりと確保しつつ、彼らの邪魔をしない、可能性を狭めないよう、そう自分もありたい。

My elementary school daughter brought home from school a leaflet titled “How to Spend the Internet World and Metaverse Space”.

It is a challenge to unleash our children into a world of spaces and strangers where their understanding cannot keep up. But at the same time, they are the future adults who will create such a world and build a new society. What we adults can do now is to ensure the safety and security of our children, while at the same time not getting in their way and not narrowing their possibilities.

In fact, our children have recently been playing around freely on their own smartphones, using English with children from all over the world on Loblox and other sites. This is exactly the kind of world these children will create in the future. The world should not be unilaterally closed off with words like “dangerous” and “risky.
Also, the item about information literacy, this is also absolutely necessary, not only for children, but also for today’s world.

Important Information Literacy
What is important in information literacy is that the recipient is able to discern information at his or her own risk. To this end, it is effective to be aware of the following three things.
(1) Discernment between subjective and objective
Is the information merely a statement of someone’s thoughts and ideas, or is it based on evidence and data?
(2) Identification of primary and secondary information
Is the information the result of the sender’s own direct experience, consideration, investigation or experiment (primary information), or is it information obtained through others (secondary information)?
(3) A scientific approach to what is believed to be true
Even if it is based on evidence and data, everything is considered to be a plausible hypothesis, and we constantly question and check for contradictions and leaps in logic (counter-inspection).
I was doing a little research to see if there is such a great thing in public education these days.This is called the Family Education Support Leaflet, which is apparently issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Family Education Support Team for each region.
It is best for children to grow up free. As the leaflet says, I want to be the same, to ensure the safety and security of my children, while not interfering with them or limiting their possibilities.
