色々本「無理ゲー社会」「上級国民／下級国民」”Superior Class Citizens”

今日は橘玲さんの「無理ゲー社会」と「上級国民／下級国民」を一気にオーディブルで聞いた。ちなみにこの両作品とも、今ならAudibleで聴き放題で聴ける。

橘玲さんの本は、20代の頃熱中して読んでいて、デビュー作の「マネーロンダリング」やゴミ投資家シリーズまで様々な本で大変影響を受け、本の影響で、実際に香港に自分の口座を作りにいったりもした。

久しぶりに味わった橘さんの作品だったけれど、やっぱり面白い！！

例えば、現代社会は離婚という名のもとでの合法的な一夫多妻制というのは、確かにそのとおりだ。

私の親しくさせていただいているパワフルで魅力的な先輩も4回も結婚をされているが、良い悪いは別として、結局魅力のある男性が合法的に女性を集められる時代なのだ。

「無理ゲー社会」「上級国民下級国民」を読んで、現代のルールに馴染めなかないタイプの国民として、まっさきに、村田沙耶香さんの小説「地球星人」の登場人物たちが頭に思い浮かんだ。

こちらの小説は、佐藤優さんが「危ない読書」の中でオススメしていたので、すぐ読んでみたのだけれど、生殖や偏愛を強要される現代社会を題材にした、なかなかの驚愕小説。

とにかく、ここにあげた4冊の本は、どれも色々改めて考えさせられる本。

日々自分達が当然だと思っていることって、いったいなんなんのか？改めて考えさせてくれる本。オススメです。

Books that make you think a lot: “Impossible Society” and “Superior Class Citizens/ Lower Class Citizens”

Today I listened to Akira Tachibana’s books”Impossible Society” and “Superior Class Citizens/ Lower Class Citizens” on Audible.these two books are now available on Audible for unlimited listening.

I read Akira Tachibana’s books with a passion when I was in my twenties, and was very much influenced by his various books, from his debut novel “Money Laundering” to Garbage Investor series. The books even inspired me to actually go to Hong Kong to open my own account.

It’s been a while since I read Tachibana’s work, but I knew it was thought-provoking!

For example, it is true that today’s society is one of legal polygamy in the name of divorce.

A powerful and attractive senior colleague of mine has been married four times, and whether it is good or bad, we live in an age where attractive men can legitimately attract women.

When I read “Impossible Society” and “Superior Class Citizens/ Lower Class Citizens”the characters in Sayaka Murata’s novel “Earth Alien” immediately came to mind as the type of people who do not fit in with the rules of the modern world.

This novel was recommended by Masaru Sato in his book “Dangerous Reading,” so I immediately read it. It is quite an astonishing novel about a modern society where reproduction and love are forced upon us.

Anyways, the four books I’ve listed here are all that make me rethink a lot of things.

What is it that we take for granted every day? This book will make you think again. I recommend it.
