『Ray/レイ』レイ・チャールズの奥様が大変
うちの眼鏡屋の銀座店は永遠レイ・チャールズをループしてかけている。
うちの銀座店は築90年ほどの趣のある奥野ビルに入っているので、レイ・チャールズに特にこだわって流してたわけでもなく、ただお店の雰囲気にあうなと思ってかけていた。
ただ、昨日タイへの飛行機の中で見たレイ・チャールズの伝記映画『Ray/レイ』これを見て、やっぱりレイ・チャールズを永遠ループし続けようと改めて思った。
見所は盲目のアーティスト、才能、孤独、色々あるとは思うが、やはり自分は、レイの奥さんがあなたのことはもう支えられないとお手上げだと愛想をつかすシーンがものすごく刺さった。ウォーレン・バフェットのドキュメンタリーでもそうだけれど、世の中に名を残し突き進んでいく人の奥さんは、どうしたって相当大変な目にあうようだ。うーん、難しいなぁ。
