眼鏡店でこんなアドバイスを受けたことはありませんか？一見親切なこの言葉が、実はあなたの可能性を狭めているかもしれないのです。

「今似合うメガネ」は、あなたを過去に縛り付けているかも

「今似合うメガネ」とは、言い換えれば、「今のあなた」の延長線上にあるメガネ。

それは、「無難」で「安心」だけど、「退屈」で「つまらない」未来しか、連れてきてくれないかもしれません。

「似合う」とは何でしょうか？

それは既に存在する「あなた」に合致すること。今の顔立ち、今のイメージ、今の雰囲気に調和するもの。

Have you ever received such advice at an eyewear store? This seemingly helpful suggestion might actually be limiting your possibilities.

“Glasses That Suit You Now” Might Be Tying You to Your Past

“Glasses that suit you now” are essentially glasses that extend your current self. They might be “safe” and “reassuring,” but they might only bring you a future that’s “boring” and “unexciting.”

What does it mean for something to “suit you”? It means it matches who you already are—your current facial features, current image, and current atmosphere.

But think about it. Is who you are now all that you can be?

There’s actually a big misunderstanding here. We tend to view our “true selves” as something fixed, but humans are constantly changing, growing, and full of new possibilities.

“Unprecedented Glasses” Can Awaken Your Dormant Potential

Here, I’d like to propose a completely new philosophy for choosing glasses:

“Unprecedented glasses bring an unprecedented life.”
