人に不安ばかり与えていては信頼を得ることができない

何の本で読んだか忘れてしまったけれど、以下の言葉を書き留めていた。

：：

人に安心を与えなさい。人に安心を与える事は、君の信頼を築く。
人に安心ではなく、不安ばかり与えていては人の信頼を得ることができない。

：：

自ら仕事をしていると、毎年同じようなことをしていてはたちゆかなくなるとか、日々少しでも改善してないと、現状維持すらできないなど、ハッパをかける意味で、ついつい言ってしまっていたけれど、そんなことばかり言っていても、意味がないと反省。

結局のところ、確かに信頼は安心感から。だからこそ、今後は安心感を与えることを第一に考え、相手の立場に立ったコミュニケーションを心がけていこう。

I forget what book I read it in, but I wrote down the following words.

Give people security. If you give people security, you will gain their trust.
If you only give people fear, not security, you will never gain their trust.

Thinking back, I used to say things like “If you do the same thing every year, you won’t be able to survive” or “If you don’t make even the slightest improvement every day, you won’t even be able to maintain the status quo” as a way of encouraging people, but I reflected on the fact that saying such things all the time is meaningless.
After all, confidence comes from a sense of security. So from now on, I will put giving a sense of security first and try to communicate from the other person’s point of view.
