Apple Vision、Meta quest 3、Xreal Air 2 Pro。現時点ではXreal Air 2 Proが断然良い。
最近、手に入れたガジェットの中で一番良かったのがXreal Air 2 Pro。Xreal Air 2 Proは、大画面にディスプレイを映すことができるのだけれど、この最大の特徴は、そのシンプルさと使いやすさ。Xreal Air 2 Proは、見た目がサングラスそのもので、外の世界を直接見ることができる。
先日Apple Visionをじっくり40分アップルストアで体験してきたのだけれど、自分でも驚き、まさかの購入見送り。今はMetaやプレステ5VRをもっているけど、Xreal Air 2 Proが最も使いやすい。
Xreal Air 2 Proの最大の特徴は、見た目がサングラスそのもので、外の世界を直接見ることができること。これに対して、Apple VisionやMeta、プレステVRはパススルー機能を使ってカメラがとった外の世界を見る。パススルー技術は確かに今後の技術発展において重要な役割を果たすのは間違いないけれど、現時点での実用面では圧倒的にXreal Air 2 Pro。
Apple Visionは、たしかに高解像度のディスプレイと先進的なパススルー機能を備えていた。ただ30分体験しただけで、めちゃめちゃ疲れた。これは現時点だと、長時間の使用はまず無理だろう。
MetaはApple Visionより軽いから、まだ実用的。画質は落ちるものの、Apple Visionのような世界観を味わいたいなら、現時点ではMetaで十分。ただこちらも日常的に長時間使用に耐えられない。また、パススルー機能を使うことで現実世界との接続を保つことができるけれど、こちらも映像はあくまでカメラを通したもの。
その点、Xreal Air 2 Proはサングラスとしてのシンプルなデザインで長時間の使用でも疲れにくく、どこにでも持ち運べる。現時点で、日常的に使うデバイスとして、これほど便利で快適なものはない。
Xreal Air 2 Proを毎日使い続けながらも、新たなVRやARが出たらすべてチェックし、良いものは実際購入していきたい。

The best gadget I bought recently was the Xreal Air 2 Pro.
The Xreal Air 2 Pro can project a display onto a big screen, but its best feature is its simplicity and ease of use. The Xreal Air 2 Pro looks like a pair of sunglasses, allowing you to see the outside world directly.
I recently spent 40 minutes with Apple Vision in an Apple Retail Store and, to my surprise, I didn’t buy it. I now have a Meta and a Playstaion VR, but the Xreal Air 2 Pro is the easiest to use.
The main feature of the Xreal Air 2 Pro is that it looks like a pair of sunglasses and allows you to see the outside world directly. The Apple Vision, Meta and Playstaion VR, on the other hand, use a pass-through function to view the outside world captured by the camera. Pass-through technology will certainly play an important role in future technological developments, but the Xreal Air 2 Pro is by far the most practical at the moment.
The Apple Vision had a high-resolution display and advanced pass-through capabilities. But after just half an hour, I was extremely tired. This is unlikely to be the case with prolonged use.
The Meta is lighter than the Apple Vision, so it is still practical. The picture quality is inferior, but if you want a world view like that of the Apple Vision, the Meta will do for now. However, it will not survive long-term daily use. The pass-through function also allows you to keep in touch with the real world, but here too the image only passes through the camera.
In this respect, the Xreal Air 2 Pro is simply designed like a pair of sunglasses, so it can be used for long periods without getting tired and can be taken anywhere. At the moment, there is nothing more convenient and comfortable for everyday use.
I will continue to use the Xreal Air 2 Pro every day, but I will also be testing all the new features.
