今やネットやスマホの普及により、世界中の情報に本当に簡単にアクセスできるようなった。かつては、都市部だけがアクセスできた情報に、簡単にアクセスできる。オンライン教育プラットフォームを通じて、予備校の伝説の先生などの質の高い教育を誰でも受けることができるようになってる。さらに、以前ジャカルタにいるときに、本当に感じたのだけれど、PCなどなくても、スマホだけで完結する新しいビジネスモデルも急速に広がっている。

やりようによっては、インドやアフリカのスタートアップ企業が、世界中の投資家から資金を調達し、急成長を遂げられる時代。縮む世界。世界がフラット化している。競争相手が世界になったかわりに、チャンスはどこにでもある。インターネットとテクノロジーの進化が続く限り、世界中の人々がより平等な機会を享受できる社会が実現されてくるのかもしれない。
